Documents for SVMCM Scholarship

Applications for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship are open and all desired Fresh and Renewal students can apply for the Scholarship. But, before applying, You have to complete all the required documents.

The applicants will upload all the required documents on the portal along with application form. The forms will be filled online o the portal before the last date. If you do not upload the required documents, your application will not be submitted and you will not be considered for the eligibility of scholarship. Here, We will provide all the details about the documents required for fresh as well as renewal applicants.

Supporting Documents for SVMCM Fresh Application (2024-25)

Before applying for the SVMCM Scholarship, you need to keep ready all your supporting essential documents. You will upload them on the portal. The list of the documents that you need to keep ready, is given here in detail.

1. Detail Marksheet (DMC)

The eligibility criteria for scholarship is 60% Marks in the last qualifying exam. You have to show your previous Board/ University Marksheet and transcript as a proof of your academic career.

2. Income Certificate

The applicant will provide his Annual Income certificate or his Family Income certificate which shows your annual income not exceed than ₹ 250,000 as an individual or as a whole. If your income exceeds than the threshold limit, you will not be considered for the scholarship. The family Income Certificate is also available on this portal. You can download and fill up. Grade A officer will sign the certificate as an attestation. Online Income Certificate can also be used for this purpose.

3. Admission Certificate

The candidates will provide college or University Admission Certificate as a proof that he is regular student of an institute. The candidate can also upload the Fee payment Receipt of his course in which he is admitted.

4. Bank Passbook

The Bank Account of the candidate is necessary for the scholarship. The transaction regarding payment of scholarship is made directly through bank account number of the candidate. So, a Valid Bank Account Number will be provided for the payment.

The first page of student bank account passbook, having all necessary information like Account Number, Name, and IFS Code etc. will be uploaded.

5. Identity Card

The candidates will provide their Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, PAN Card or any other Government Identity as a proof of their Indian nationality.

6. Domicile Certificate

The Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is only for the needy students who belong to West Bengal. For this proof, the candidates will submit their domicile certificate as a proof of resident of West Bengal. Banglar Shiksha ID is the identity card for the people who are resident. So, candidates will submit scanned copy of this ID.

7. Passport Size Photograph

At the time of filling online application form, students must upload their recent Passport size Photograph. The photograph should have a clear background and prominent face recognition as an identity.

8. Student Signature

The signature of student on a plane white page. The student will upload his signature page while filling application form.

Supporting Documents for SVMCM Renewal Application (2024-25)

The renewal application for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is offered to the students who are already enrolled for the scholarship. The student already receiving scholarship payment, will renew their application. As a Fresh Applicant, the student have already submitted all the required documents. So, now they will only give a proof of their promotion to the next level. The next level may be the higher semester, higher class, etc.

1. Detail Marksheet (DMC)

The eligibility for the scholarship as a Renewal Applicant is to maintain 60% Marks in the previous level. If you are carrying this criteria, You can submit your application for Renewal of Scholarship. You will upload your Last Semester or Last Class Marksheet (DMC) as a proof of promotion to higher level with 60% marks scoring.

2. Admission Receipt

The students will submit their Admission Receipt showing their admission in the next level (Semester or Class). This is also a proof of student’s promotion to the higher level.

The documents you will submit, must meet the certain criteria of format and size. If the format and size of the scanned documents is not up to the required level, You will not be not upload them.

  • File Format and Size should be according to the requirement. Only PDF file for the documents with not more than the size of 400 KB can be uploaded. The picture size should be 20KB to 50 KB while signature should be 10 KB to 20 KB.
  • Income Certificate from the Competent Authority (BDO/SDO, BLRO for Panchayat Ares OR equivalent from the Municipal Areas ) is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

You will produce an income certificate in front of Official that will show your yearly income. The annual income of your own or your family income must not exceed INR 250,000/- per year for this scholarship. 

First you will apply online on the portal. Then you will save this application form and take print of this form. You will also submit the hardcopy of the application form with all the required documents and bank account details in your college or university. 

The picture and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format. The size for your picture should be 20 KB to 50 KB. The size for a signature image should be 10 KB to 20 KB. All of your remaining documents like marks sheet, domicile and transcripts etc. should be in PDF format.
